She was a pastor from 1981-2002 in the Holston Conference and 
the North Carolina Conference of the UMC. After being diagnosed 
with cancer, she went on incapacity leave in 2002. God has given her a new
ministry called “Merry Ministries.” She and her husband, Andy, live in Eden, NC.
